This is my first time visiting an English-speaking country, where everything was overwhelmingly exciting to me. For example, due to the lack of cultural competency in a foreign country, I went to a grocery store without knowing how to evaluate the quality of an item, and could only see local people grab and go easily, which was frustrating to me. I was nervous and I needed also to talk to people so as to release my anxiety. I decided to start talking to myself, and many clips were therefore born. I tried to put them together, add some of my "off screen" comments, and post it on YouTube for the future Hsing-Hung to reminisce, and possibly to entertain you 👻

Becoming a Teacher
During my undergraduate study, I completed Taiwan's teacher education program, with a speciality in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), which allows me to become a national certified teacher.
Teaching in Sweden
In April 2023, I survived the university-wide selection, together with the other five compentent preservice teachers (English, Arts, Geography, Home economics, etc), on behalf of NTNU, visiting a public school--Almunge skola, Sweden, and Uppsala University, Sweden for a two-week teaching practicum.
Classes I Taught
Designing lessons based on "comminicative language teaching approach" and "issues integrated", I guided Swedish students to read through an adapted English article centering Yeh Yung-chih incident in Taiwan, introducing to them the history of Taiwan's gender and marriage equality movement, and eventually attempted to arouse their awareness of bully and gender eqaulity.
